Location of the hotel in the old town a good. We had a lovely room with antique furniture, there was a lovely swimming pool and the surroundings were very relaxing. There is also a taxi/tuk-tuk office right outside the hotel which was useful. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant one night and the quality was excellent. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.- 07-Sep-2005 Overall is good for staying at Rachamankha, maybe this hotel is quite new in Chiangmai so most of the time when we get back to the hotel the driver don''t know how to go but it''s not a big deal, the only thing you need to do is bring a hotel name card with you once you''ve arrived the hotel as there is a map printed at the back.
If you want somewhere with home village feels it should be a good choice.
Only thing I need to remind you is that their room doors are not good at sound proofing if someone pass by or the housekeeper tidy up the room beside yours, you''ll be disturbed by the noise. - 07-Sep-2005 I thought the hotel was fantasic - great rooms, beautiful grounds, nice pool and very friendly and helpful staff. My only negative comment was the shower pressure - it was very weak and lukewarm at best. This might have only been my room but since it was hot outside and we were only there for a couple of nights we decided not to make a fuss about it.- 07-Sep-2005 |
