 Arrived early and the hotel reception staff looked after our luggage while we started to look around the many buildings etc. The room was large and had a lovely view of the Kings Arms pub; the room must have been a smoking room in the past as the smell was still hanging around the room. The room was clean but could have been better as some of the lights had the odd cobweb on etc. Breakfast was OK but we had to queue each day for a table which we found very strange. Location was excellent couldn’t have asked to be more central to everything another bonus was the free wireless internet connection which allowed us to post our photos as we took them so family etc could see them.
We would highly recommend the York Pass, true value for money from Yorkshire and saying not often said!- 02-Jun-2008 Stayed for 4 days and wished we could have spent more time there. The staff were so helpful and friendly and did anything to make the stay more enjoyable.The rooms were kept spotless and the hotel itself was immaculate. - 10-May-2008 The hotel was in a prime best location, right in the centre of York.
