The hotel was very basic with services and facilities. By dubai standards the pricing was relatively good, but the location of the hotel is not exactly the best. It's right smack in the middle of a very rowdy area which is not exactly the cleanest. The best views from the hotel are residential homes with laundry decorating all the balconies. Also, quite a bit of garbage on the streets. Paper-thin walls add to the charm too. The location of the hotel in the middle of all these residential homes makes it very easy to miss if one is not careful. But in all, if you're not looking to be very close to the bright lights, fanfare and dazzle of dubai, it's good value for money.- 30-Nov-2007 Whilst the staff at Queens Hotel were friendly, the hotel was not very clean, our balcony was filthy and overlooked a busy street and 2 very smelly skip bins. The noise from the street never stopped whatever time of the day or night, hence we didn't sleep very well. The breakfast was not inviting and inedible. The hotel did not offer any tourist info, brochures, maps ect. I would not recommend this hotel.- 16-Oct-2007 Once again I book through your service and arrived at the hotel only to find they have no booking for me! For ten minutes I was kept waiting whilst the clerk pretended to find my booking.
When he did he asked me if I wanted a single room. If he had my booking he would know I booked a double room!
Who is at fault here? on the previous occasion a different hotel also did not have any booking for me! On this occasion I believed [your website] when you informed me the problem lay with the hotel, that you had sent both email and fax to confirm my booking. What's your reason this time?- 20-Mar-2007 |
