 The location of the hotel and the near by beach is fantastic for a quiet getaway. It's a great base for exploring the margaret river region though you will need to travel several kilometres to dine at restaurants other than those at the hotel.
The design of the rooms/chalets in the bush garden setting is fantastic. - 31-Dec-2007 We spent a lovely couple of nights at this hotel. Pros: location; grounds; room design and facilities; pool; bar; restaurant; mostly friendly staff. Cons: the speed of service in the bar and restaurant even when not terribly busy; the decidedly low pressure shower in contrast to the explosive sink tap pressure! Btw, the Bunker Bay Cafe owned and managed by Juanita is just a five minute moonlit walk along the beach and is superb for dinner. The hotel reception recommended it.- 17-Oct-2006 Stunning in many ways, particularly for that quiet beach getaway. Two bedroom garden villas are well kitted-out and spacious for four. Food excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Great view of the ocean from the hotel infinity pool. Not much to do when the weather is bad - take your favourite CDs and DVDs to play in the villa entertainment system.
