 I was a little taken aback by how "dated" the hotel was; its very tired and in need of refurbishment; the service from bar and restaurant was average but you could see the rooms were cleaned.- 26-Mar-2008 This accommodation did not live up to the internet description.
When we arrived, we were told the hotel (actually a motel) was overbooked and that we were to be relocated to another hotel. I objected since we had particularly wanted to be in walking distance of the WestPac Stadium, and the alternative offered was further away; with hindsight, the location was the only good thing!
The decor was very shabby. The bathroom was not clean; in particular the ceiling above the shower was damaged and there was mould growing there; having seen this, we did not try any food there since we wondered about the state of the kitchen! I would not recommend this accommodation and would not stay there again.- 23-Jan-2008 The hotel was in a poor state of repair and the room was dirty. The hotel is in need of a complete refurbishment.
