The hotel was falling apart, only one lift out of 3 was working and we had to wait for ages for it to arrive. An employee told us it was because they keep breaking down is why they are out of order.
Room had signs of damp in it. We were moved from our original room because the toilet did not work. When we took our shower the bath empties very slowly.
The health club facilities were not open.
Breakfast was good. - 12-May-2008 This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It is a 3 star hotel but I'm not sure it would even get 1 star if a review was carried out. The hotel was dirty with wallpaper ripped off the wall and paint peeling off the ceiling. It is overpriced and is really only a glorified hostel. The only positive is the location. I'm sorry but I won't be back. - 25-Feb-2008 Ideally situated in the city centre, adjacent to the central train station. Rates are very cheap and include breakfast. Great if you are staying for a one night booze up, as I was. However, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone staying with their partners, families etc. The rooms, although clean and tidy have very poky bathrooms and I was woken up at 6am by the noise of builders renovating an old tower block across the road. The corridors and reception rooms are looking very tired, dark and dingy and most of the hotel looks to be in poor repair (although the rooms are recently renovated). OK if you are on a budget option short stopover, otherwise avoid! - 03-Dec-2007 |
