A bit far from central Kanchanaburi,. The advertsising says only 2km from the city, but that must be by "the Crow" It costs 200 bht each way for taxi from resort to town. If you share with others is OK but otherwise a far way out from the action.- 03-May-2009 I have rated Service average, because when we stayed at the resort, there were hardly any guests and in fact more staff, however they seemed to be quite out of practise and everything particularly food took a very long time. There was also some construction work going on.
The resort is in a really beautiful location but is quite isolated so if you're happy to stay put in the resort you're fine, if not you'd be reliant on taxis. There are lots of mosquitos as the resort is right on the river with part of the river flowing right up into the hotel grounds, but a few coils/plug ins do the job.
The room was clean and everything was in working order, it was reasonably basic but great for the money.
I'd recommend this place for a couple of nights stay in Kanchanaburi, which is enough time to see the local attractions.- 31-Mar-2008 |
