 The Hotel is well maintained in its traditional 19th centuary mode. Well recomended, but of course no air-conditioning.- 26-Mar-2007 Felt that they let themselves down a bit as your initial impression of the hotel is of a boutique type hotel but some of the furnishings and fittings didn''t fit in with that impression. Wasn''t the cleanest place with dirty taps in our bathroom and the spa pools had ants crawling around them. The restaurant was available on the Saturday night unless you had the meal and jazz session combined. Found that a bit strange for a hotel. Very friendly staff and as I said the initial impression was "Wow".- 29-Nov-2006 The hotel is in a fantastic location - walking distance to many local attractions and the tourist info, the hotel public areas are really lovely and have a good old world charm.
Bedroom we had was large and spacious.
Only downside was the that bathroom was filthy and in desperate need of moderisation. - 16-Dec-2005 |
