 The hotel is dur for a facelift,rooms very seventies but kept clean.We found the hot food basic but enough choice not to go hungry. Some noise from passing trains as station is behind hotel. Locals very friendly, well worth learning a few basic phrases of portugese as most do not speak any english. Very cheap to eat out and no real need to dress up for the occasion as most eating places very laid back.If visiting much before june there are few places open at night to eat/drink after end of may the place comes alive.Would go again it makes a pleasant change from the hustle of the Del Sol!
