 The location of the Powell was perfect - right next to cable cars and BART, great shopping and restaurants. The staff was very helpful allowing us to check in early and out late as we had runners in the Nike run. I had a confirmed request for two twins. Since they had filled those available rooms they put us in a suite with two bedrooms, each with a queen and sharing one bath. The rooms were faced to the inside so we did not have all the cable car noise. We also had ceiling fans in each room. I felt the bathroom floor was a little dirty but I know old buildings are hard to clean.
