 The room was excellent - spacious, quiet and fantastic views. The pool area was equally impressive. However this is where the 5 star rating ends. The service was almost fawlty towers like - almost comical. Poorly trained reception staff who were clueless. It was about 30% occupancy, mostly older guests(May) and it took 20 mins for 3 people to check us in- one couple! They ran out of beach towels - apparently the machine was broken. All the 5 star touches like pool side bar, pool side food service, even a decent bar or restaurant were missing.- 12-May-2008 it would be nice if bottled water was available at night - the fridge was empty- 03-Apr-2008 |
