 Stayed at the Pinnacle Lumpinee many times. It''s across from Lumpinee Boxing Arena, and the Night Bazaar. The hotel itself is hidden away on a small soi, just of Rama IV Road.
Inside, the hotel has a very nice lobby and restaurant. Lower floors are standard room, and come with 1 or 2 beds. Rooms are adequately decorated, and have really nice warm blankets!
Upper floors have deluxe rooms, more spacious, and provide an in-room safe.
Hotel reception provides safety boxes free of charge. Breakfast included when you book through asia-hotels.com Breakfast has a variety of Western and asian food buffet. On site cook will cook your eggs or omelettes the way you like them.
Staff is superb. Always ready to help, and no request is too big or too small. Even cleaning staff will greet you with a bright smile in the hallway.- 07-Sep-2005 The hotel is a good value and the location convenient to the subway -- Lumphini station (which will connect you with the SkyTrain). The front desk was helpful, especially one recommendation to take a ferry to the Grand Palace area, a good call. The taxi driver stand area was not too aggressive, which is a plus in Bangkok. The Suan Lom night bazaar is right across the street, fun to visit on a weekend evening.- 07-Sep-2005 Very good location. Rooms quite a good size and reasonably well maintained. Breakfast mediocre. Staff variable in their attitude. Not a strong culture of service evident but basically relatively efficient and not unfriendly.
