 This little hotel is a gem in heart of Rome! Our room had an amazing view of the spanish steps. The hotel is a little faded, but the rooms and clean, beds are comfy and bathrooms decient. Breakfast is very italian (i.e. small), but you are so close to every thing you can just pop out for a proper espresso, and pastry for a couple of euro. Staff were english speaking and very helpful.- 09-Dec-2008 This was the 5th time I have stayed here. The location CANNOT be beat! The rooms are fairly small but the location makes up for any shortcomings that they may have.
However, this was the first time I stayed in room 301. Avoid this room if possible. The room is in the corner and you do not have the best view of The Steps. It is also the smallest room they have.
Overall though, I will continue to stay here.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
