 The hotel was described as modern & few minutes to the beach - yet the room was 80's design with bright red & blue decor (awful), definetly not modern and the sea was not accessable unless you like abseiling. Cascais was a 30 minute walk from the hotel and the 'fitness centre' consisted of a running & cycle machine (no gym). Definetly not a 4 star property.- 30-May-2007 We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel. As we lived i this area of Portugal 1971 -1974, it was very much a walk down memory lane for us and we were very pleased to find Cascais very much the way we remebered it.(with the expection of prices of course). The hotel is located a bit away from the center and the bus service could be a bit more frequent, but on the other hand, we had lots of fresh air and sunshine and a very nice pool. We will be back!!- 22-Oct-2003 The hotel's food and service were excellent.
The hotel was refurbished in April 2003, and so everything was new and clean during our stay.
The hotel is on the outskirts of Cascais with a good 30 minute coastal walk into town/or alternatively you can hop onto the hotel bus which goes into town on an hourly basis up until 6 o'clock or pay €4 for a taxi.- 25-Apr-2003 |
