It also offers a range of fitness facilities that includes a fully equipped fitness centre, a heated swimming pool, steam rooms, saunas, as well as massage and beauty treatments.
 The hotel and staff were very helpful organising a car on a couple of occasions that worked out very well. The hotel''s location was very central within walking distance of several attractions. Thank you for your assistance in booking this accommodation. Highly recommended.- 07-Sep-2005 The hotel''s heyday was in the past and from global standards it was a bit shabby, old furniture, decor, etc. The hotel is under renovation (to be completed in 2005), so you have to go down a level from the lobby to get to your room and leave. It is quite loud throughout the workday, but we were hardly there during those times.It is well located for the Forbidden City, other major attractions and shopping. Services in the hotel are extremely over-priced - go outside the hotel for anything that isn''t included. Across the street is a breakfast buffet that was better for half the price. - 07-Sep-2005 The Palace Hotel is truly a very luxurious home away from home. The location is unbeatable. The hotel staff is friendly and professional. Large breakfast buffet with the best pastries outside Paris! The in house designer boutiques are very nice, very comparable to their European counterparts. Their Mercedes limousine service is just impressive. Overall, the hotel is a just a great value.
