 For a weekend stay on ones own , when going to a match, and where the "lap of luxury" is not an issue, this hotel is fine. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Though sparse, the room is ok. It has the basics-bed tv and en-suite. Given that there are a number of hotels along 7 Sisters Road that have closed down in recent years, the pembury deserves to be given business. What is truly ideal about this Hotel is its proximity to underground. - 19-Nov-2008 The place is disgusting and I would strongly advise booking a hotel elsewhere. The staff are not in the least bit interested in sorting out any issues, such as dirty rooms and cold showers.
The breakfast is best avoided, white bread, jam and processed cheese, with very diluted orange squash disguised as "orange juice".
For hostel-like facilities, I would expect hostel-like prices.- 14-Oct-2008 Inital room I was allocated was shocking - obviously used LOTS: fittings falling apart and next to main road, so very noisy. Asked to be moved to quieter room as I needed to be up early next morning and was moved to a much better room: much quieter too. Room is clearly reserved for when hotel is less busy (my stay was midweek). Having said all that, both rooms looked very clean, though decor was as tired as you may expect: but overall GOOD value and good location as tube very close by- 15-Mar-2008 |
