 Staff were very friendly. Room was small with a tiny bathroom but to be expected in London unless you want to/can pay much more. They get away with it by theming up the rooms and the hotel itself, so it kitch kitch kitch all the way; old skool portraits teamed with carpets, drapes, wall hangings, spangle, chintz and faux fur - kind of like Dolly Parton meeting Liberace and Tom Jones for a babysham down the local with Elvis and a Bond baddie dropping in for last orders. I'd stay there again and would reccomend to friends. - 11-Jan-2008 I had booked a single room for 1 night. This was the smallest room I have ever stayed in. I intended to get an early night as I had to be up early the next day for an important meeting however due to the windows not being double glazed the noise was unbeleivable and subsequently I only had about 3 hours sleep. I did ask for a quieter room maybe at the back of the hotel but they stated there were no available rooms and seemed quite unconcerned. My room was also on the top floor with no lifts. This is a good location if you are not bothered about getting any sleep.- 09-Oct-2007 The location is perfect and close to the tube station. Very easy to get travel to other destinations in London. We stayed in the triple room for 3 nights. But we were a bit disappointed with the small size of the room, and also the toilet. The TV was not working either. The hotel service was good though. Breakfast was served and left at the door promptly in the morning. Would recommend if anyone is looking to stay at a convenient location on budget. - 03-Oct-2007 |
