 Our first room was too noisey so when requested they did not hesitate to change our room.- 30-Jul-2009 EXCELLENT HOTEL BUT FOOD AND DRINK PRICES EXHORBITANT. STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THERE ARE SOME VERY GOOD AND REASONABLY PRICED RESTAURANTS AND BARS NEARBY TURN RIGHT OUTSIDE THE HOTEL- 05-Sep-2008 A fabulous 10 night stay -we asked for an upgrade with a balcony and within 10 minutes we were given this. Staff were very polite and made every effort to accommodate needs.
Drinks are $10AUD for cocktails. Happy hour 20% off at 5pm- beer and wine buy one get one free.
Breakfast was excellent. Coco Bananas cafe offered great snacks at good prices ($10 AUD). Nightly, themed buffets at night in restaurant, however, we did n-markets.
Rooms are comfortable and housekeeping very good. The decor is maintained and is good quality given the age of the hotel. Don't expect brand new, but don't expect to be disappointed.
Day Spa is sensational and not as cheap as outside operators. The service, decor and quality is good.
Night markets are right outside the hotel at night.
We were really happy staying here. I'd stay again and recommend it. Particularly good for families with a seperate pool and slide and the coco-kids-club was popular with a host of activities for children.- 07-Jul-2008 |
