 A fabulous 10 night stay -we asked for an upgrade with a balcony and within 10 minutes we were given this. Staff were very polite and made every effort to accommodate needs.
Drinks are $10AUD for cocktails. Happy hour 20% off at 5pm- beer and wine buy one get one free.
Breakfast was excellent. Coco Bananas cafe offered great snacks at good prices ($10 AUD). Nightly, themed buffets at night in restaurant, however, we did n-markets.
Rooms are comfortable and housekeeping very good. The decor is maintained and is good quality given the age of the hotel. Don't expect brand new, but don't expect to be disappointed.
Day Spa is sensational and not as cheap as outside operators. The service, decor and quality is good.
Night markets are right outside the hotel at night.
We were really happy staying here. I'd stay again and recommend it. Particularly good for families with a seperate pool and slide and the coco-kids-club was popular with a host of activities for children.- 07-Jul-2008 The hotel is located at a long private beach, and is perfect for relaxation. Outside the hotel within a short walking distance, many restaurant, internet, money exchangers, and a very nice night market which has a good price ranges (after little bargaining). - 07-Sep-2005 Location of the hotel is very good. Easily accessible to eateries, sundry shops and the popular night market. Our room has a balcony which faces the sea. Very beautiful but it would be better if we could have gotten a higher floor. We were at 3rd floor and the highest is 6th floor. There are many activities provided at the Koko-Nut Club for the children and there are other activities for the hotel guests too eg. the snake charmer performance at the garden. The nite market sells all kinds of interesting stuff however you have to bargain with the stallholders. Cut at least 1/3, if not half, of the price offered.- 07-Sep-2005 |
