 The staff here was VERY friendly and helpful. They made it such an enjoyable stay. The facilities are old, but kept reasonably well. It is true that the elevator is tiny and sometimes problematic. We would definitely stay here again.- 30-Jul-2008 Our experience was a NIGHTMARE! We arrived with prepaid confirmed reservations, only to be told "Sorry, we are overbooked" and were shunted to a lower-category Kempinsky hotel in a TERRIBLE NOISY LOCATION. After 2 days of complaining they finally accommodated us with a nice room on the 8th floor....and then THE ONLY ELEVATOR CONKED OUT! WE HAD TO WALK UP AND DOWN 8 FLIGHTS!! We're both in our 60's and, fortunately, in good health, but walking up and down 8 flights is UNACCEPTABLE. They never even offered any refund or credit adjustment. AND THEIR BREAKFAST BUFFET IS AWFUL!!! Never again will we stay in ANY Kempinski establishment.- 20-Dec-2007 |
