Location
The resort is a privately owned island, located 3 miles off the west coast, off the Straits of Malcacca.The island is a perfect getaway as only resort guests and staff are allowed onto the island. The resort is located in the exclusive and secluded cove of Marina Bay.
Rooms
The resort features a variety of villas, air conditioned and traditionally furnished with woven bamboo ceilings and luxurious fabrics. They provide spacious accommodation, with balconies, deck chairs and a full range of facilities.
Restaurant
The resort has a variety of excellent restaurants, lounges and bars catering for all tastes.
General
The resort offers a full programme of spa treatments, water sports, diving excursions and trips and jungle trekking. Each estate has its own pool, car and driver, personal chef and staff on call 24 hours a day.

 The hotel is very good, especially the Villas above the sea. There were some details which bothered us a bit (water bottles not delivered, glasses missing, mix-ups with the check-out time, etc.) as in a hotel of this price and quality level, everything should be smooth. Yet, the overall quality was just amazing and we would really recommend this for people looking for peace and quiet.- 07-Sep-2005 I would recommend the hotel to my friends for special vacations or other specialities as a honeymoon etc.
- 07-Sep-2005 Incredible hotel - we were upgraded (compliment of kind words by Irene at asia-hotels.com to an Overwater Bungalow). The most romantic and relaxing vacation we have ever had. The spa is fantastic and the island is beautiful.
The only downside is that because you are on a private island, you are forced to eat every meal at the hotel - which can be pricey. Other that that, this is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED resort for couples and people who love great spas.- 07-Sep-2005 |
