 We had 2 floods due to the air conditioning. Do not expect a seaveiw, it is on a road with no veiws but conveniently located.- 04-Sep-2006 The bedroom was a suite so larger than expected, with, in effect, its own lounge. Meals were very good value ('free' bottle of wine with dinner). Comfortable 'piano bar'. Very close to one of a number of excellent beaches and within walking distance of the centre.- 05-Jul-2006 A friendly, English speaking hotel 20 minutes by bus numbers 1, 2 or 6 from the centre of Santander for a flat rate of 1 euro (2004 prices). Excellent comfortable and clean standard rooms with good choices at breakfast that runs until 1100 hours.
Great walks from the hotel along the beach / esplanade into Santander (taking about 60 - 90 minutes)
Beware, Santander closes from 1330 - 1630 for siesta even in October. Restaurants open from 2000 - late.
