 The Hotel is located in the Parioli area Rome (near to the Borghese park, zoo and the embassies). It is approximately 20 minutes walk from the centre however the walk is shaded (through the park) and very safe / beautiful. There is a very good tram at the end of the road. The benefit of staying in this hotel is that this area is very well to do and authentic so avoids tourist trap restaurants etc. However it has a feel of last being loved circa 1970 with faded grandeur, in need of TLC and a good spring clean. The receptionists were sullen, spoke little English and had cancelled our booking prior to arrival.- 02-Aug-2007 |
