An excellent hotel. Centrally located with a great buffet breakfast and very quiet rooms.- 26-Sep-2005 We didn''t have any problems with the hotel itself, it was badly let down by the attitude of most of the staff. A couple of examples. As the temperatue in the room got quite high at night (25C), we asked if the staff could check if the airconditioning was working. The second time we asked, we were told that it was too cool outside to have the airconditioning on. It was suggested that we could open the widows (above a very busy and noisy road). The breakfast was an interesting experience. There was a daily fight with the staff to get knives, forks and spoons. Only half of the heaters on the toaster worked, so we had to turn the toast around - one mornining it was not even plugged in as the extension cord was missing. When they ran out of bread one morning, it took some time before the staff managed to order some more. During our week at the hotel we experienced a few of these episodes. - 07-Sep-2005 |
