The hotel felt pleasant and somehow homely, the room (a twin) was clean and well prepared every day. The continental breakfast was ok and simple, as i should be, and served in a very nice and friendly manner. Also the receptionists were friendly and fixed promptly small problems as lacking bulbs etcetera. The location near to tubes and buses is a big advantage. - 18-Jun-2007 The hotel has four floors and no elevator.
I had a room with shared toilet but there are nnot many rooms on each floor so the distance is short and the risk that it's occupied is small. It's obviously well looked after by the staff becausae it was quite proper.
The TV was old, no remote control and few channels but it did work.
The breakfast consisted of cornflakes with milk, toast and marmelade, and juice plus coffee/tea of course. a good continental breakfast.
I would like to stay there again, provided I get the same low price.- 07-Mar-2007 For the price and location this was our favorite Hotel in London. The rooms are not the biggest but you have a TV, Bathroom/Toilet, jug with tea and coffee. The room was always nice and warm even though it was January. The breakfast is simple cereal and toast, juice, coffee/tea/hot chocolate. The Hotel is friendly and the location being 50 yards from Earls Court tube station is perfect for Airport connection or getting around London. The Hotel is 50 yards from many shops and all transport. Car rental is 800 yards away.
On the downside, their is no lift so be prepared to carry your bags up 3 levels. The Hotel has an annex 2 doors down which may mean leaving the building to go to breakfast if you get a room in the annex.
I can't fault the Hotel otherwise and the rate we got was very good considering the location. (Forget about a Hostel) - 29-Jan-2007 |
