Room is a bit too small but the location is excellent.- 11-Dec-2008 Staying at the Ottoman Hotel Imperial was an excellent choice. All staff was friendly, helpful and courteous at all times. Elif (Guest Relations) provided me with all the information I needed and gave me advice. Ozgur looked out for me when I wasn't feeling well. Anil, Ugur, Iskender, and Erhan (sorry if I misspelled names) are just awesome people. They always made me feel welcomed in their country :) My room was always clean and had everything I needed when requested. It was a little too small and reminded me of a stylish college dorm; however, I was traveling by myself and spent most of the time outside so it was not a big deal. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel's location was one of the best things of my trip. Most historical sites, banks, post office, stores, restaurants, etc. are around the corner. Based on a great experience, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there when I visit Istanbul again. - 02-Aug-2008 The Ottoman Hotel has an excellent location, and the staff could not be more friendly. It is quite small in palaces, including the rooms, which do not have a lot of walking room around the bed. Saying that the rooms are very comfortable, and you could not have better views of the Aya Sofia. The breakfast is passable, but not that special. I would book here again if staying in this area of Istanbul. - 14-Jul-2008 |
