We rented a 3-bedroom townhouse. The decor was dated. The hotel staff did not escort us to the rental property to review how to run the appliances/TV/DVD etc. No room service delivery was available from the hotel to the townhouses, which was difficult since we arrived later in the evening and did not want to bring a 7 and 11 year old out to eat that late. - 30-Jul-2007 The hotel is good for all the above but is showing serious signs of old age (ie general room was shabby, bedding was torn and marked, etc) - 10-Apr-2007 Should not be rated 4 1/2 star. Mould in between daouble glazing of glass in shower, tiles cracked, fittings loose. No roof on top floor balcony, can't enjoy. No undercover parking for guests cars, all cars have to park out in the elements, not good enough. Hotel does not have foxtel, even 3 star Motels have foxtel. Not enough chairs and umbrellas in pool area and what unbrellas are there are pretty useless, they are broken and too small. the hotel has been there for approx. 16 years and NO improvements have been done since then. Instead of building $800K plus apartments below the resort, they should concentrate on fixing up the existing resort so the guest can get their moneys worth. Would probably rate it as 3 1/2 star. Views of ocean are nice, although not sure how long that will last when the new building goes up in front. Big mud pit below wasn't very appealing either.- 11-Jan-2007 |
