 The hotel is located in the main square so great for getting around (although Cesky Krumlov is not that big so doesn't make much difference where you stay!!).
The standard double room is small but ok for 2 people. The room that we stayed in had a seperate toilet and bathroom (very loud extractor fans you may want to request a bath if not a shower person. The room had a double door to minmise noise, but that did not stop the vacuuming at 5am both mornings. Although a 4 star hotel, it does not provide irons in your room, but does offer an ironing service which was free according to the front desk, but chargeable if you read the laundry details. Good buffet breakfast selection to start you off for the day, but not the friendliest hotel staff serving. Check in / out is very easy& the hotel can keep hold of your luggage if you are travelling later.
On the whole, a good clean hotel, centrally located. Bit pricey compared to some of the other hotels (from what we saw) but nice.- 02-Sep-2008 Good hotel in great location- 17-Aug-2008 Very good location in the heart of everything. Had a lovely surprise when we were given a suite. This gave us a lot of space and the lack of air conditioning was therefore not a problem despite the heat.
