Location
The Hotel Oasi dei Discepoli is easy to reach, as it is just 5 kilometres away from the motorway exit of Orvieto. It is a good location for businessmen and tourist who apart from strolling in the small medieval streets and squares of Orvieto can also visit other places of interest in the area.
Rooms
The Hotel has 70 rooms that are spacious and elegantly furnished, combining charm with discretion. Many have balconies from which you can admire splendid views of the cliff and relax admiring the green hills of Umbria.

The elegant Oasi dei Discepoli Restaurant is an inviting oasis of calm, perfect for any occasion. The restaurant combines the famous gastronomic traditions of Umbrian cooking with haute cuisine bringing this culinary art to perfection and meeting the needs of the most demanding client.
General
L'Hotel Oasi dei Discepoli has four meeting rooms, each room has a 20-100 person capacity and state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment which is ideal for company meetings, congresses, and exhibitions.
 It took us hours to find the hotel as we assumed it was in the Orvieto town centre - not many miles away in a tiny village with no other facilities.
The room was large with a balcony. There was a broken fridge and a TV showing 5 channels - none in English.
The restaurant was large but the food not very good and we were overcharged the next day on check-out, as a bill was not presented at dinner.
This may be OK for tours, but not for personal travellers as there is no way to have a good evening out in Orvieto and be able to drive back oneself.- 21-Sep-2006 |
