 The hotel served it's purpose for me but nothing more. I did not find the staff informative or helpful. The kitchen facilities were very basic. however the location was quiet and very convenient for the coach station and sky tower.- 12-May-2008 It was a nice stay overall. Hotel is pretty new and facilities are quite nice. We got the back side apartment which means no sky tower views or balcony. This was probably because booked on a discounted rate. The hotel is located near to sky tower, however, noticed some homeless or rowdy kinda people roaming around. So not the best of the location. But overall quite pleasant stay. Charged 20$ per day for car park. Recommend to book the park in advance. - 26-Mar-2008 Very nice, spacious two bedroom apartment; clean and well furnished, including a washer/dryer in the room. As mentioned by others, the block immediately to the north is somewhat dodgy, but the hotel is located right next to the police station, so no worries! There is about a 10 minute walk to the CBD, going uphill on the return, so you are not right in the middle of the busy CBD. That could be a plus or a minus, depending on your personal perference.- 28-Jan-2008 |
