 Nice appartments, but the hotel accomodation is average- 22-Jul-2008 Beautiful apartments with fabulous view. A long way from the town centre or any shops. The hotel has a very complicated layout and it is unlikely that you will be able to park the car near your room. also you have to walk through the garage and use 2 lifts to reach reception. There is an onsite restaurant. - 03-Mar-2008 Oaks Shores is a new complex and very nice. I stayed there in March 2007 and really enjoyed it. The staff was very helpful. The facility is right on the beautiful lake and offers great views. The only drawback is that it is a 30-minute walk into town. There is a "Connector Bus" that goes into town and gets you there in about 5 minutes. It is $3 each way and picks up / drops off right in front of the hotel which is great. You can even take it to/from the airport for $5.
If you can get a good room rate and don't mind being a 5-minute bus or cab ride from the town center, then I highly recommend it. If you really want to be in the town center, then I recommend [another hotel], where my friend stayed. Better location but more expensive.- 13-Mar-2007 |
