 The stove was greasy; some cutlery was dirty; and there was mould/mildrew on the grouting in the shower. The drains in the kitchen sink were dirty. There was only one wine glass (plus four flutes). There were no large mugs. Other kitchen equipment was fine. The bed was short sheeted (ie the bottom sheet did not reach to the end of the bed - there was a gap of several centimetres).
Otherwise, the room was quite comfortable and the staff at check-in were courteous. - 05-Oct-2009 The Oaks was everything it was described as which makes a nice change. We were upgraded from a 1 to 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious. The kitchen and laundry were both modern. The master bedroom had a large walk through wardrobe to a big ensuite. The bed was comfortable and the deck area outside was large with room for plenty of people.
Location wise it was right across the main road from the beach. There is a small supermarket, a bottle shop, bakery, bar and a couple of resturants right outside the main entrance. The Lime Grill cafe had very nice food and decent prices and I would thoroughly recommend it.- 26-May-2009 We really enjoyed staying at the hotel. The room is big and clean with ocean view balcony. Swimming pool is very beautiful! I think they are much better looking than photos which we saw at hotel club web site. The location is perfect. There are supermarket, bar, restaurants and caffe at ground floor of the hotel. The service is excellent too. They happily allowed us to check in early and check out late without any extra fees. Everyday we were swimming in the pool and beach. We love to stay there again!- 05-Jan-2009 |
