Oaks Goldsbrough Apartments was originally built in 1883, at Pyrmont Street overlooking Darling Harbour. It is also close to the restaurants and bars of Cockle Bay and King Street Wharf. The monorail and light rail stops at the hotel's doorstep.

The property offers studio as well as 1 and 2 bedroom apartments that are air-conditioned and come with modern amenities.

There is a coffee shop onsite. For more dining options, the area is filled with lots of restaurants and cafes just right outside the hotel at the harbourside.
General
Apart from serviced apartments, there are facilities for rest and recreation such as the 25 metre indoor heated swimming pool and spa, sauna as well as state of the art gymnasium that are available at the premises.
Please Note
Please be advised that the pool, spa, sauna and gymnasium will be closed for refurbishment from 6th May for approximately 4 weeks. In addition, there are refurbishment works happening throughout the building presently with some noise disturbances occurring between the hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

 We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and our room had waterfront views ( a must) . The only reason that service was rated "average" is because these apartments do not have conventional Hotel services. Therefore the lower rating is not a serious issue. The washer and dryer in the unit was a real asset. We would definitely stay her again.- 02-Mar-2008 Everything was fine except the service of Front Desk. Not much service provided. Have far difference between the actual room and photos on website even I have called to the hotel ask the difference.
Well equiped and just a minute to Darling Harbour Shopping Centre & Dining restaurants.- 18-Dec-2007 Although giving the facilities a 'good' rating, there is one major turnoff. We had the two bedroom apartment where the bedrooms/toilet facilities were up two flight of stairs, and kitchen/living facilities down stairs. As a consequence trudging up/down the stairs was a nuisance. ie: our party included and 82 year old lady. We requested a change of rooms - but the hotel could not assist. The also advised that this was a problem they new about and had been reported on many occasions by other guests.- 27-Nov-2007 |
