 We sent three Emails ahead to the hotel with no response requesting a room up high and away from the street. When we arrived our room was right above the bar and 3AM garbage truck pick up.Each day i requested to geta better room and was told there were none available.
We were pretty upset that Emails went unnoticed and that they would not find us a quiet room. The price was much too high for what we had to put up with.- 14-Oct-2007 Dissappointed that the hotel dinning room and bar is vacant. The rooms were clean. I'm unable to comment on room service as I didn't order any.
The front desk staff were pleasant and efficient.- 04-Feb-2007 Overall, the hotel is great. I had problems in the restaurant (for dinner). It was a bit 'Faulty Towers'. Service was poor, staff were inexperienced. I had to ask for my glasses of wine several times - at the end they did not charge me for them - a point in their favour. Food selection was 'ordinary' but what was served was good. Otherwise, great location, great room (microwave, iron, washing machine and dryer, cutlery, crockery etc. - Mini Bar prices 'exhorbitant'!) and front of house was excellent.
