Location
Located at the juncture of the lush tropical rainforest and the aqua blue waters of the Coral Sea, this beautiful resort is a 25-minute drive from North of Cairns.  Room was a little dated. Fridge was rusty and bathroom showing signs of mildew and mould. The beauty spa was good though, with a friendly masseur on hand! Our room was down the road a bit from the main pool area (which was nice)....but the pool at our block of rooms was very old looking and in need of an overhall.- 24-Dec-2008 Luxury hotel in beautiful, large garden. The hotel is not directly adjacent to the beach, but at a 10 minutes walking distance.
During our stay in November there was only a very limited area of the sea available for bathing due to risk for crocodiles and/or jelly fishes.
The hotel has several nice pools. The reception staff were not very friendly and not helpful.
The rooms are well equiped.
