 The rooms were a good size and quiet with the windows closed. The number of "derelicts" around the hotel was abit disconcerting, but they caused no trouble whatsoever and we never felt threatened. Rooms were clean, but the carpeted area of the restaurant at breakfast time was "crummy" from croissants...more of a design problem than a personnel problem, though! I suppose the only real complaint we could mention is the speed of the internet service. One pays for TIME on the internet and it is VERY SLOW to respond which makes it rather costly. PLUS the cost of PAY TV is very high for what is included! We like the St.Cathérine area very much and access to Grand Place is very easy. We'd stay at the Novotel Brussels Centre Tour Noire Hotel again....without hestitation!!- 26-Jul-2007 Amazingly the hotel does not have any none feather pillows. As a person with an allergy to feathers it meant I had to go out and buy a pillow. Not a very helpful receptionist.- 23-Feb-2007 The price rate provided by the website was good value considering the normal prices charged by even average hotels in central Brussels. The hotel was a good standard and quiet, but still well placed to see central Brussels. The metro was only a short walk away, giving good access to Brussels in general- 16-Dec-2004 |
