 Very nice and comfortable hotel in a nice area. Our room which was nice, clean and spacious did not face the street, so it was nice and quiet. The hotel is 5 U-Bahn stops (U 2) away from the Central Station and is a 2 minute-walk from the stop "Christuskirche". Breakfast was incredibly FANTASTIC :-)
We will definitely stay there again. - 09-Nov-2007 Stayed in the single room that was small but cosy. The bed was wider than the typical single beds. The hotel is in a rather noisy road, but in the room I stayed (facing the backyard) there was no traffic noise. The sfaff was friendly. The hotel has recently changed ownership and the restaurant was only available for breakfast buffet (which was of good 3* hotel standard). There is a bar in the lobby. The location is great if you are to visit the University. Otherwise, there are direct metro connections from stations Sclump or Christuskirche to the city centre. The taxi drive from the airport to the hotel costs about 18 euros.
