The first room I was offered: the bed sank in the middle, so I slept accross at the other end of the bed. I found out the following morning that the batten underneath was broken. However, the second one was much better and I have no complaints, except that the toilet/bathroom wall needed to be washed down a occassionally to remove body fluid marks.- 16-Sep-2009 Dreadful Hotel. Reception and downstairs areas acceptable, but room was smelly and dirty and not decorated for about 20 years. We asked for a swap but the new room was not much better. Shower had smelly drains and water was scalding hot and not adjustable. Breakfast was poor. Major gripe was that nobody really seemed to care, or tried at all to make things better.
Worst place I have ever stayed. Need bulldozing.- 28-Jun-2009 Behind the plush reception is a tired and drab hotel. Lots of banging throughout the night, very limited menu, no bar meals, poor quality breakfast. It was very cheap so it is sort of acceptable, but there is a lot of improvements to be made for it to live up to the first impression you get from the reception area. To be fair there are improvements going on, but it needs a lot.- 01-Jun-2009 |
