very disappointed with this hotel it came highly recommended price was high. placed in rooms with disabled toilets felt like we were staying in an old hospital. the entertainment was abismall they put on a christmas singalong show on the 8th of NOVEMBER. Expected at least a disco in Copper Face jacks no such luck. overall very low rating and would not recommend- 15-Nov-2008 I have to admit that i was expecting alot better from this hotel, the decor was drab and old, we stayed at the [other hotel] last time for the same price and found it 10 times better. On arrival we were dissapointed with a room that looked tired and old with bedding that matched with old scratchy wool blankets instead of duvets. the window was broken in the bathroom and wouldnt close, this meant that on going to bed you could hear the disco blasting through the window and my little girl had a dance competition that we had to get up at 6.30am for. In all I would not return to this hotel, it is out of date, scruffy and overpriced. awful stay- 02-Apr-2008 hotel has been renovated but still needs work done. Decor is dated but clean. Staff helpful and allowed to keep room on for a couple of hours as check out is early at 10.30am. Spa not used but pool nice. Alot of groups use this hotel so very busy. Breakfast is buffet and really busy, had to wait some time for coffee. Hotel is far end of blackpool and need a tram into town or at least £8 in a taxi. Room small and bathrom could do with retiling. For the cost this was expensive.- 22-Mar-2008 |
