We booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child and only got 2 towels in the bathroom for a 3 night stay. Other than that the room and hotel was worth the money.- 26-Jun-2009 No air conditioning makes the higer levels suffer a bit with the heat, coupled with the lift out of service at least once a day.
The King room size is aweseome, and could do with some extra furniture.
On the whole, for a weekender, the hotel is very enjoyable.- 25-Feb-2009 We stayed in the King ensuite room. The room, while extremely basic was quite large, and the bathroom was clean and modern.
Location was very good, with easy access to Queen Victoria market and not too far to the CBD. Convenience store/liquor shop is just down the street.
There is a bar inside Nomads, which is good as the immediate surroundings of the hotel there isnt anywhere to drink, grab a coffee etc.
Overall its not a bad place to stay for the price- 26-Nov-2008 |
