I am probably being picky - I was upsold upon arrival to a better room for $100 per night extra. The room was excellent - but missing 3 lightbulbs and we found a new pair of shoes that had been there for the duration of stay which the maid hadn't found [until we left bizarrely!].
What 'bugged' me was twofold: the exec lounge which provided afternoon drinks and nibbles was both limited and poor in quality [cheese and biscuits does not work for those who are lactose intolerant]. Also, the service you received varied by individual employee.
The pros: location - superb. General accommodation - great. Breakfast - very good.
Worth the upgrade? Not in my opinion.- 01-Jan-2009 excellent location in heart of the centre of San Francisco.- 19-Dec-2008 Nice hotel with perfect location close to Union Square . Very expensive breakfast-go out and find a breakfast-cafe in town instead. Nice pool and gym cost 10 dollar/day.- 29-Jul-2008 |
