The Newington boasts a wonderful sauna and indoor pool area for guests to relax after a long day's sightseeing, shopping or work.
 Dated hotel, single glazing to the rooms which leads to noise problems with our particular room over looking a main road into York. Good sized rooms with lovely tall ceilings inc hairdryer, trouser press tea/coffe & plenty of biscuits. There was a small pool with towels available & a chargeable sauna.
aprox 15 min walk into York or buses available outside the hotel.
