 The hotel exceeded our expectations! The location was fantastic (easy walk from station, great bars and restaurents a small spit away, antiques market straight out the door, main art gallery 3 minutes walk etc.,). The breakfast was superb. More lowly staff very friendly, only very small winge coming up here - receptionists appeared a little snooty! Would give it 9 1/2 out of 10.- 03-May-2007 we only stayed in the room and diden't have any meals.
so we can only say someting about the standard of the hotel and this is only very positif- 20-Jan-2007 We got a great deal on this place (which included a very good good quality buffet breakfast) and were very happy with our stay. It's in a lovely, quiet and rather posh location, only about a 5-10 walk down to the Grand Place. I recommend taking a taxi if you arrive at Midi station and have luggage, however it's only about a 5 minute walk from Central station (if you don't mind going up a bit of a hill).
The room we had was fantastic - we had a view over the pretty square out the front of the hotel (I believe they have an antique market there on Sat or Sun?) and a huge king size bed. We were more than comfortable!
The service on arrival was great, but we did encounter a couple of rather snooty people at reception during our stay. - 12-Sep-2006 |
