The hotel was clean and they have just recently opened a gym,not central, although this was not a problem,just a couple of euros in a taxi from central station.Service was excellent although the only down side was the price of the drinks in the hotel, 36 euro for 2 grappas and a whisky.(Wont be doing that again in a hurry)

We were very happy with our stay in general - especially considering the good price we paid. Very helpful staff in the reception and the roomes are very nice and spacious (at least the executive room). The breakfast is good but the breakfast room gets pretty crowded . The location is OK. It's centrally located and if you don't mind walking it's in a handy location to see the city with just a few minutes walk to the nice Brera area. But the area closest to the hotel is not very interesting and there's not much to see. Overall, I would recommend the hotel

Very friendly staff at the GHV. Spacious, modern design bedroom. Good variety at breakfast. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the nearest underground station (Republica). However, a 20-minute walk to Duomo will take you past all the fashion shops and some very nice cafés.
