Located on a quiet street in the prestigious Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, My Place Hotel combines the ambience of an elegant Victorian town house with the modern amenities expected by today's traveller. Earl's Court Underground Station is just a minute's walk away with fast and frequent trains directly to London's West End and Heathrow Airport. The hotel is just a stones throw away from the lively and colourful Earl's Court Road with it's many shops, bars and restaurants. The property is also just a short tube ride away from London's most fashionable shopping areas such as Oxford Street, Bond Street, Knightsbridge, and Sloane Square amongst others.

Each of the 50 bedrooms have been tastefully decorated in period style and equipped with modern amenities.

You can dine at the on-site restaurant that serves a variety of delicacies.
General
The hotel offers facilities and caters for anything from wedding parties or engagement parties to corporate events, conferences and business meetings.
 The hotel is near Earl's Court station and therefore convenient to getting around. The staff are very friendly. I did not have breakfast at the hotel but it was included in the deal.
That said however the room ( Double room with large bed) was not to a standard I would recommend to fellow travellers. The toilet seat was broken, the carpets were badly stained and the room being at the front of the hotel very noisy so it was not possible to have the windows opened.
the hotel in general could do with a make over as the room I had was really dated and needed freshening up. - 18-Jul-2008 Nice room, specially I liked the room size compared to other London hotels, friendly staff, excellent connection to London Underground, quiet. On the downside breakfast is served first at 8AM, the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner for my taste and one has to pay extra to use the Internet.- 05-Jul-2008 |
