 we were very satisfied with the hotel and the staff was also very supportive- 15-Aug-2008 We stayed at Hotel Mundial for a long weekend and as we only really slept at the hotel in was ideal for our needs. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was very good. Beds were a little hard but we were so tired after our days sightseeing this didn't matter.
The hotel is very well positioned right in the heart of the city near to two busy squares where there were many cafes and restaurants and very near to the main shopping areas. Also there were good transport links for buses, trams, metro and train all either right by the hotel or within a 5 min walk.
The only downside was the area right outside the hotel. This area seems to be frequented by not the most desirable charachters. However do not let this put you off as it was only for about 200 yards and once past this there were no undesirables.
Overall I would recommend this hotel for a short city break.- 07-Mar-2008 The hotel staff were courteous and efficient, The hotel has two resturants, which I did not use, and a nice bar. Breakfast, included in the room price, was ample, but items that should have been served hot were stone cold. The room was basic, but clean. Parking is free. The best thing about the hotel is its location, just at the top of the Baxia district, within easy walking disrance to resturants, shops, transportation... - 21-Nov-2007 |
