 The hotel exceeded my expectations. The restaurant was limited, more cafeteria like but the food was good. The lobby was very nice and the room was great.- 19-Aug-2008 We enjoyed staying at Mount Vernon Hotel very much. Our room was larger and wider than what we were used to. Everything was very clean and new. The wireless access in the room was nice. It looks like it was recently renovated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking in the garage below worked out fine. We walked down to the Inner Harbor on both days. We also discovered that the Walters Art Museum (free) is only a block or two from the hotel - don't miss this. We went with our two boys and we all enjoyed it.
