I would describe the hotel as good. Upon check in we were offered the choice of a quieter or more scenic room. Overall the hotel was in a decent position within walking distance of everywhere we needed to be. We had plenty of space (in a King Suite) and the bed was very comforatble. For Midtown Manhattan the room was very quiet and we were not disturned at all duing our stay. Main negatives were the cleanliness of the shower (particularly the extractor area above it) could have been improved and the television picture was not great. Hairdyer broke in use and was quickly repaired and the welcome chocolates were a nice touch. We didnt think much of the continental breakfast (dry croisants and muffin) and didnt bother going to it again after the first morning (we were there for eight nights) Use of wifi internet in the room was fairly expensive at $10 a day. If returning we would probably include the hotel in our shortlist but it wouldnt automatically be a first pick
