This hotel is located on Elephantine Island and is reached by a private boat service.The hotel is totally private with pleasant gardens.
Rooms
The bedrooms have been renovated.The standard is good and all rooms have large balconies.The marble bathrooms are maintained to a good standard.
Restaurant
There is a poolside snack bar which serves a variety of food.The main dining room is very large and very tasefully decorated in pale green.Once again the standard of the food is reasonable and all international and local cuisine is available.
General
This hotel offers good service.The 5 minute boat crossing is very pleasant and the drop off point is in the centre of the Aswan Bazaars.

 The hotel is still under renovation. The pool is complete and beautiful however, it is not heated. The staff are more than happy to help. The best thing about this hotel is the free ferry service which runs every 15mins to the mainland. There is an excellent Nubian resturant located on the second island to the south, very good prices and the food portions are more than enough. - 31-Jan-2008 Wonderful hotel. True 5 star.
