 Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel.The owner and his family made us very welcome and the service throughout the stay was first class.The hotel is very clean and the food, including dinner is of a high standard.The location is quiet and a bit remote for some however the owner offers a service to and from S Ombomo for 10 Euros where a regular bus service operates to Bergamo.I will return to this Hotel in the future however now I am more aware of the location I will hire a car from the Airport.An excellent venue for a quiet relaxing holiday away from the buzz ,but within striking distance should you require something a bit more upbeat.

Fuipiano Imagna is situated at the top of one of the alps, and does take over an hour to get there from Bergamo. There is also not much to do in the village. Wrongly advertised as near Milan which is a couple of hours away. Taxis are expensive, so make the best use of public transport, which is very cheap and goes to the hotel. The owner is a money grabber, so watch out. Other than that, it was an excellent holiday.- 12-Feb-2008 |
