 I was very surprised with this hotel. I booked only a single room and was given quite a nice double room. The breakfasts were really good for continental hotel breakfasts. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The hotel was a little bit hard to find when I first arrived in Sardenia, but the locals assisted in helping me find the hotel. The location, while not in the city centre, was only a 5 min walk to the beach and a pleasant 25 min walk along the beach to the old city.- 27-Mar-2008 Small,basic facilities but good value for money.
Situated between two very noisy roads.Morning work traffic starts early.No chance of a lie in.
Bar area compact.No atmosphere.- 16-Oct-2007 Found this to be a pleasant hotel to stay at, with friendly staff. It only provides breakfasts and there was a good variety of foods & drinks. There is also a bar. It is about half an hours walk to Alghero harbour, and 12 mins. walk to Maria Pia beach. There are occassional buses to Alghero centre & Fertilia from Via Liguria, and more frequent services from Via Don Minzoni nearby (you need tickets before boarding). There is a problem with barking dogs in the area, and I expect there is quite a noise from passing traffic at the front of the hotel. - 30-Sep-2007 |
